Robin S. Gilpatrick, Ed.D. Minimize

Greetings Room 5 Residents and families....

Let the journey continue!

The school year is in full swing. Already we have dissected squid, completed a book report, discovered the wonders of Early Man, and enjoyed quality literature. Mid-term reports suggested areas of concern and efforts have been made to establish support modules for all students, both to scaffold areas of weakness and to enrich and expand lessons.

It is my pleasure to facilitate the learning that happens in Room 5. I am a lifelong learner and hope to spread this joy to my students. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Regards, Dr. G.

HOMEWORK

Never ending and always Never ending and always relevantrelevant

Students are urged to maintain updated agendas at all times.

All assignments are posted for a full week in the classroom. Students are encouraged to choose one hour that they will dedicate to their homework efforts. This will help them develop excellent work habits and build stronger organizational and time management skills.

Homework is always relevant and should reflect the student's ability and understanding.
