Dear Frolio Parents/ Guardians,
Tuesday, March 23, 2010 will begin our first round of the state mandated MCAS testing. During the administration of the March / April MCAS assessment, we will be testing all 7th & 8th grade students at Frolio for their knowledge in ELA - Reading Comprehension and Long Composition. During the month of May 2010, all Frolio students will be tested in Mathematics as well as our eighth grade students in Science/ Engineering and Technology.
It is of the utmost importance that your child be present and well rested on the days of testing. Should you know at this time that your child will be absent on any of the testing days, please contact the office. We will not be providing breakfast to students this year. As with any school day, it is important that your child eats a healthy breakfast prior to arriving at school.
I am confident that through the hard work of your child, the teachers and you, the parents, that all of the Frolio students are well prepared for this assessment. As always, please call me at the Frolio Middle School should you have any questions.
