Congratulations: Minimize

Congratulations to junior Vicky Lynch who will be representing Abington High School in the Southeastern District Music Festival Chorus to be held at Oliver Ames High School in Easton on January 6th and 7th, 2012. Vicky was selected by audition.

Congratulations to senior, Liz Morgan, who has been selected as a WCVB Channe 5 A+ student. Principal Teresa Sullivan wrote to David Brown after Liz received multiple nominations from her teachers, coaches and guidance counselor. Channel 5 will tape at Abington High School in late November. An announcement will be made when the segment will air on TV.


Achievements Minimize

This year Abington High School students won 22 awards in the 2012 Scholastic Art Awards Competition. This is one of the highest number of awards of any school in the region. An exhibition of Gold and Silver Key winning artwork will open at the State Transportation Building in Boston on February 13th followed by an award ceremony at John Hancock Hall on March 11th.
