development of our students. We seek to create an educational experience based upon a curriculum reflecting the
 
standards set forth in the Massachusetts curriculum frameworks. Recognizing and serving individual differences,

John and Abigail Adams Scholarship Minimize
Dear Parents, Students and Friends:
Thirty five Abington High School seniors have qualified for the prestigious John and Abigail Adams Scholarship. The Adams Scholarship provides a tuition waiver for four years of undergraduate education at Massachusetts state colleges and universities for students who are accepted. Massachusetts public high school students automatically qualify for the scholarship when they:
1. Score in the Advanced category in either the Mathematics or the English language arts section of the grade 10 MCAS test;        
2. Score in the Proficient or Advanced category on the second subject (Mathematics or English language arts); and
3. Have a combined MCAS score on these assessments that ranks in the top 25% in their school district.
AHS students recognized at an Awards Ceremony on Thursday, November 3rd as potential scholarship recipients were Nicholas Atkinson, Andrew Berry, Barry Cashman, Michael Catalano, Kathryn Cawley, Stephanie Chiocchio, Jacob Concannon, Caitlin Connors, Samantha Craig, Matthew Crawford, Michael Crawford, Donna Creighton, Jonathan Doucette, Samantha Dowd, Jazmin Gauvain, Kendra Gaven, Scott Glenn, Jessica Gosselin, Brendan Linehan, Rian Lundquist Garland, Scott Martel, Veronica McCormick, Nicholas Morrison, Alexander Narcotta, NamDu Nguyen, Joseph Nichols, Kelly Norton, Timothy O’Connor, Joseph Phan, Robin Purtell, Justin Rasetta, William Tulip, Joshua Whitman, Jennifer Wilson and Patrick Zadrozny
