Reading Counts Minimize

Reading Counts is a web-based program located on computers  of short multiple-choice quizzes on thousands of young adult novel titles in the Frolio library,.  This computer program is used by Frolio students in the 7th and 8th grades to assess and track pleasure reading. In class, students are expected to read during the opening minutes of class while I check each student's homework.  Please know that each due date for a Reading Counts quiz is the LAST day that the quiz grade will be accepted. The passing grade is 70, and this grade must be achieved by all. The system has a 'second chance' and even a third and final chance built in, though, whereby all who receive a grade below 70 can retake a different quiz twenty-four hours later!

Due date: All quizzes must be taken and passed (70 or above) by Oct. 13, 2011.   Extra credit is an option using this program! One may read a second book - for extra credit -by this due date.
